Our Story
Cornerstone began with a vision, received at a camp meeting in 1995 and founded as a church two and a half years later. What started as one congregation is now a family of parishes across two countries, still built on the same foundation.

The vision received
At Foursquare Camp, Ajebo, Rev. (Dr.) Abraham Abiodun Hungbeme caught the vision of what would become Cornerstone Gospel Global Christian Centre.
The ministry founded
Cornerstone was founded, two and a half years after the vision was received. It was first known as Cornerstone Gospel Missions International.
The founder’s passing
Rev. (Dr.) Abraham Abiodun Hungbeme went to be with the Lord, having led the ministry for twenty-three years.
A new General Overseer
Following his father’s passing, Pastor Isaac Olusegun Hungbeme became General Overseer of the ministry.

Cornerstone today
CGGCC gathers in six parishes across Nigeria and the Republic of Benin, with its headquarters at Upper Room Parish in Igbogbo, Ikorodu.
The same foundation
The church that began in 1998 now gathers in two countries. What has not changed is the foundation it is built on.
